Curriculum Overview

The Briefing
Meet your instructor and learn the basic safety rules and hand signals used underwater. We'll go over how the equipment works so you feel fully prepared before getting wet.

Pool Session
Start in shallow water to practice breathing and basic skills. You'll get comfortable with the gear and take your first breaths underwater in a calm, controlled environment.

Ocean Dive
The highlight of the day! Head into the beautiful blue water for a shallow reef dive. Explore marine life alongside your instructor and experience the true magic of scuba.
Course Prerequisites
Minimum Age
Participants must be at least 10 years old to join the Discover Scuba program.
Health & Physical Fitness
Divers should be in good health. A standard medical questionnaire is required before diving.
Swimming Comfort
Basic swimming skills and being comfortable in water deep enough to stand in are essential.
